Debbie comes to the firm with over seventeen years of experience in providing accounting, auditing, tax, bankruptcy and litigation services. She joined KenWood & Associates, P.C. in 1996 and is currently a Tax Manager for the Firm.
She has diversified experience preparing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations as well as experience in connection with tax planning, acquisitions and restructuring. Debbie enjoys working with privately held businesses and their owners to assist them with tax and accounting matters, as well as assisting with IRS representation. She is also knowledgeable in preparing federal estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns. Debbie’s background includes such industries as manufacturing, retail, construction, healthcare, legal and personal services. In addition, Debbie has experience with audit, review and compilation engagements.
Debbie graduated from the University of Texas in 1980 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and went on to receive her Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston in 1991. She received her Certified Public Accounting certification in 1993. Her professional affiliations include the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
